We found a user who sells recycled journals & sketch books that are all handmade. The paper is recycled scrap paper. Check out some samples below and view all the items here.

Here are some really interesting and stark facts about oil consumption in the U.S., along with a great graphic from the New York Times. It is very disheartening to see how the U.S. has done little to try to reduce our dependence on oil and in fact has increased our relience by leaps and bounds compared to other countries.

We are excited to debut our first Youtube video! We felt we weren’t doing the best job about explaining our company’s story and how you are truly helping affect people’s lives in a positive way when buying our jewelry.

I ran across this video of a really interesting shower system from a company called Quench. It has a “recycle” mode for when you are not lathering or shampooing, which will take a gallon of water and simply circulate it over and over so you can take a shower as long as you like without pulling more than the 1 gallon that is being circulated continuously. Pretty neat stuff.

Streets are for People is sponsoring an anti-car petition centering around the 2008 Earth Day. On April 22nd the above car ripe with signatures of petition supporters will be rolled up to the Ontario Government around 3 PM.
