A machine has been developed that can suck up the equivalent of 1 ton of atmospheric carbon dioxide in 1 day. This is a way to mitigate the effects of global warming, instigated by the use of fossil fuels.
It is an interesting issue to ponder. The real solution to stop global warming is to stop using fossil fuels. Basically, the developers of the machine have the stance that people won’t stop using fossil fuels until the supply is totally depleted. I understand this, but if there is no solution on how to convert or use up all the stored C02, this presents a hazardous situation just like storing nuclear waste.
